An unmissable event for professionals in the gastronomy and hospitality industry, Sirha Lyon returns in January 2025 for a new edition full of discoveries and innovations!
What is SIRHA?
Also known as the World Culinary Competition, it is one of the most prestigious global gastronomy competitions.
It was conceived and created by French chef Paul Bocuse in 1987. It takes place in Lyon every two years.
Twenty-four chefs from twenty-four countries compete for 5 hours and 35 minutes in front of an audience, preparing a dish.
There is also the World Pastry Cup, initiated by pastry chef Gabriel Paillasson. Over two days, pastry chefs have 10 hours to create their masterpieces. Each team is made up of three members: one ice cream maker, one pastry chef and one chocolatier.

SIRHA has around 4,700 exhibitors and brands, 210,000 professionals, nearly 15% of whom are international.
